Extracurricular activities are the activities which are outside of the realm of the normal curriculum of an institute or an organization. From very young age, people engage in extracurricular activities even from the preschool age. School students also engage in such activities as they are really important for a person in multiple ways.

Extracurricular activities help a person to develop his soft skills, social skills, communicative skills and understands the others views and ideas and respect them. Therefore it is really vital for an employee to have few extracurricular activities as they make his job easier.

 

 

 

When an employee engage regularly in an extracurricular activity he can develop his soft skills and it will be a benefit for him to do his job easily without any stress. Also he will develop his communicative skills and it’s really important for an employee. Further through extracurricular activities an employee can develop his social skills and can build more positive relations with the other employees in the organization and it is really useful for his job duties and also the work place will be a pleasant and a stress-free place for him.

 As a person engage in extracurricular activities he can increase his self-esteem and self-confidence through that and it will be a benefit for him to do his job with that confidence. He can focus more on his duties and can have a massive change in his attitudes. That will affect his entire life in a positive way.

Extracurricular activities helps a person for improving team spirit and it affect the performance of the organization as well. Employees tend to share the ideas and try to work collaboratively and they build strong bonds with each other and work with positive attitudes to develop and build up the organization.

 

 

 

 

Also it breaks the monotony of the normal working schedule and they get a chance to refresh their minds. It increases the productivity of the organization.

Further extracurricular activities help a person to improve his general outlook and he will be a smart and pleasant person even from his outer look. It helps to improve physical fitness and the physical appearance. It helps to work more actively in the work place.

To conclude engaging in extracurricular activities are vital for employees as they benefits to take their career to a higher level and it helps to achieve more goals and it affects the performance of their organization as well.
