Diversity is the differences among people on race, sex, economical background, social background, ethnicity etc. But now it applies to a different scope such as differences in working styles, gender, generation, policies, procedures etc.

Work force diversity can be defined as the differences and similarities among employees on age abilities, gender, cultural background, social background, skills, strengths and weaknesses etc. this diversity should be used as an asset for the organization as with these differences the employees should have a pleasant workplace which favors them to work for the success and the development of the organization.

In such condition there is the need of diversity strategies to implement in the organization for better management and it helps the organization to build more relationships with the community and the employees. Also it enhance the quality of the working staff and the productivity of the company.



Further implementing effective diversity strategies in the organization benefits the company by improving productivity and the profit, improving employee retention and minimizing other expenditures for new recruitment s.

Human Resource Management plays a major role in diversifying the workplace as HRM should use different strategies to retain the diversity inside the organization which enhance the effectiveness of the organization. Those strategies should be used to make the workplace free of discrimination or harassment and to work independently by respecting the differences among the employees.



For that colorblind recruitment s should be done when choosing candidates for the vacancies and it may lead to a multicultural, diversified work staff. Those recruited staff shot more employee retention strategies to keep the employees and to make the working environment a should be retain in the organization in order to make the benefits out of it and for that HRM should implement and pleasant motivating place. There should be monitoring process which should take place inside the organization to detect any harassment or discrimination on gender, race, religion or region.



Also there should be colorblind promotion processes inside the organization. Any suitable person should be given the appropriate place for him considering the abilities, knowledge and skills. Usage of technology also can be a benefit for this diversification of the workplace by automating the recruitment s, promotions, and effectiveness of the new policies and behaviors of the employees.



To conclude with a diversified work staff an organization can double their performances and even the profit. For that the differences among the employees should be respected and accepted inside the organization and with multiple views and ideas the innovations can be fostered. Therefore HRM should be more responsible in implementing more strategies to diversify the workforce in order to maximize the company  performances.
